The journal brings open access articles available for readers immediately after their publication. The articles are published according to the conditions of the Creative Commons public licence CC BY-ND, which means that the users are allowed to copy and distribute the scientific material in case the original work is properly cited. This licence allows using the knowledge for any purposes, commercial included. In case the material is adapted, which means newly arranged, transformed, or the ideas are used in an inappropriate way, this material cannot be distributed. This annoucement highlights only a few key points and conditions of the real licence. The journal Acta Aerarii Publici is based on the institutional Open Access Policy of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bytrica, which enables a non-limited on-line access to the scientific and research output, financed from public recources with the aim to increase its visibility and thus its impact on the society development.

Archiving policy
Individual issues of the journal Acta Aerarii Publici are permanently archived in the institutions established accroding to Act No. 265/2022 Coll. on Publishers of Publications and on the Media and Audiovisual Register and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts or the ‘Publications Act’.
The printed version of the journal (2007 – 2022) is also permanently archived in the University Library od the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. Since 2023, the journal had been published in an electronic form and is available in the Archive of the journal Acta Aerarii Publici.
