OPTIMAL SETTING OF RISK LIFE INSURANCE FOR AN INDIVIDUAL

Abstract: The aim of the work is to evaluate the optimal setting of an individual's risk life insurance through a comparative analysis of insurance products of selected commercial insurance companies with an emphasis on insurance amounts, covered risks, exclusions and risk gap. To demonstrate how properly set risk life insurance can significantly contribute to income protection and prevention of financial losses due to death and disability. To recommend the optimal setting of insurance coverage, selection of a suitable insurance company (from monitored insurance companies) using the scoring method from the decision matrix in the context of Saaty's exact method by pointing out the most common mistakes when concluding life insurance. The results obtained can be used on an analytical basis supporting rational decision-making of individuals on securing income in the event of the occurrence of selected risks through risk life insurance.
